Results are ready within 7 business days of when the sample is received by the lab.
You will receive an email letting you know your results are ready to view within the portal. Results will not be included within the body of the email to ensure privacy.
Yes. All of our tests are performed by CLIA-certified labs, the gold standard in lab testing quality regulation. Within your results report you will also find detailed information intended for your healthcare professional. They can use this information to interpret your test results clearly. Yes, all our test results are reviewed by a physician during the lab analysis process to ensure the third party validation of your results.
If you've taken the Female Fertility Panel: Yes! After receiving your results, you’ll have the opportunity to schedule a telehealth appointment and discuss with a healthcare professional. There’s no extra charge for this option - the price is included.
If you've taken the Female Wellness Panel: There will be an option available to receive a virtual consultation with an imaware clinician if the resulted values are out of range. In this case, the consultation is free of charge.
Yes, we provide physician orders for every test in every state (even those that do not require them). You don’t need to get a prescription or pay extra for this service as it’s included in the purchase price of each test.
We do not recommend taking both tests on the same day. Instead, please take the tests at least two days apart to ensure you have enough blood to finish both samples.
Both tests are available in all states - except NY and Puerto Rico.
FSH, E2, and AMH results may be affected or inaccurate if you are using a form of hormonal contraception. Non-hormonal contraception will not impact results.
If your period begins before 4 PM, that day is considered day 1 of your period and day 2 would be the following day. If your period begins after 4 PM, day 1 is considered the next day, and day 2 would be the following day.
If you do not get your period, you can take the test any day. The test needs to be taken within three hours of waking up and after having fasted for eight hours. Results interpretations may be inaccurate for FSH, E2, AMH if collection is not done on day 2, 3, or 4 of the menstrual cycle. Results interpretations for other biomarkers will not be impacted.
